HISTORY
Construction took 10 years and was carried out by a Carinthian railroad metalworker named Franz Najemnik in Villach (Austria). Some detailed design drawings are still preserved. They demonstrate meticulous accuracy and enormous know-how while planning and building the boat.

  CONSTRUCTION TIME

  1971-1974
Named "Muntere Lady", the vessel sailed for a few years under her constructor in the Northern Adriatic.
  1975-1991
Im spring of 1975 Robert Hammer purchased her from the original owner, and she was immediately redesigned as gaff-rigged ketch and renamed to ANIMA III. Her first voyage then led to the Ionian Sea. On the passage she lost her propeller, which after a few weeks could be replaced by a new one delivered by Giacomini Nautica Trieste.
In the following years she sailed numerous holiday and charter trips in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas under her new owner together with his son.
  Since 1991
After the unexpected passing of Robert Hammer in June 1991, ANIMA was taken over by his son Martin. After additional 10 years with much effort, labour and time spent by the present owner and with his helpful friends she was brought to a seaworthy and ship-shape condition.
  2003-2004
One year on the Atlantic circuit, starting from the Med, sailing to the Caribbean and back to the Med.
2008-2011

2012
