Safety
Due to design and construction ANIMA can be described as a reasonably safe vessel.
The heavy, well dimensioned oak-on-steel hull construction with its long-keel leaves some safety-buffer in case of collision or running aground.
Danger of man-over-board is compared to modern yachts extremely reduced by stable and high bulwark (30cm) and railing (90cm).
In the small cockpit on-board-breaking water causes no effect by reduced buoyancy or stability.
